Trainer's Bio
My name is Jerry
J. Moll, III. I own and operate Southern Tradition
Dog Training Kennels with my wife Dawn, and three
children. I am 37 years old and a life long resident
of Louisiana. Growing up in the outdoors has been
my whole up bringing. My Father raised me to be an
outdoor sportsman, taking me on my first duck hunt
when I was 3 years old, and have been hunting them
ever since. My love for the outdoors has been a great
enjoyment with family and friends all of my life.
I started training
my first retriever in 1989, and have been working
with dogs ever since.
I currently own 4 dogs myself, a 2 yr old Chocolate
Labrador, Diva, a 1 yr old Chesapeake Bay Retriever,
Sassy, a 1 1/2 yr old Chocolate Labrador, Razz, and
a 4 mo. old Chocolate Labrador, Mocha.
I served in the
Military for 3 years active duty and 5 years with
the Louisiana National Guard. From 1995 - 2008 I was
a police officer, 3 of those years were with the K9
Unit.
In 2005 I made the move from part time to full time
trainer when we opened Southern Tradition Dog Training
Kennels. Specializing in hunting retrievers, and all
breed obedience programs.
Over the past
20 years, I immersed myself into learning all I could.
I have had the opportunity to train and work with
some of the best hunting retriever trainers in the
country, Bill Cox (Labradors Unlimited) Valparaiso,
Indiana, Chuck Tirrano (ThunderHead Kennels ) Buffalo,
New York, Eric Bebe ( Retriever training seminar)
British Columbia, and Steve Hendricks ( Hendricks
Retrievers ) Katy, Texas, taking a little from each
of them to tailor an obedience and hunting retriever
program that is highly effective.
All of our dogs
are trained in a family environment, results guaranteed!
